It seems very difficult for people to see the big picture, they're focused on the here and now and the desire for Ethereum to go mainstream quickly even if it means glossing over weakness. These discussions would be so much easier if we hadn't already reached this level of success 😂

My biggest takeaway has been that there’s still a lot of care taken to encourage solo stakers. Glad to see it.

My tldr of it is the research is sound and there is a good case to be made for issuance reduction but any change to issuance needs to be thoroughly vetted and discussed extensively by the community and therefore needs more time to bake

Don’t use Twitter but from what @sassal.eth has summarized it seems fair that issues of this nature need time to be digested before coming to a conclusion. Unfortunately either option could have a big negative result And impact eth’s position as a leader.

Prioritize first anti-correlation incentives like the ones proposed by @vitalik.eth and only then start discussing issuance curve adjustments. As it stands any reduction to issuance will tend to kill first solo stakers before centralized operators. Resulting in further centralization.
