Add jest to my Typescript React app. Fails because import can't be used outside of a module.

Change project type to module. Running the React app locally now breaks.

Remove "type": "module". Try using require in the test instead of import. Now the test fails to compile my Typescript code.

God help me. We do not pay frontend devs enough to deal with this Hell.
