pro founder tip you can keep shipping new features consistently if you launch your product early with only 20% of the planned features ?8^)

I thought this was taking a dig at the recent AAA gaming industry which would sell half baked games and then patch them along the way, but if it’s not an premium priced product for sale and is legit in developmental phase or has strong start up energy, then it’s actually feasible strategy.

yeah, thinking more in line with the second product category i have been building @atlas in public for like ~7 months so i should be able to pull off the bandaid and launch, but i still hear that little voice whispering "it just needs one more feature" nevermind tho, it'll be out this week with all its imperfections, and i hope the startup energy and community feedback will become a fun part of the product for all of us users

Your approach actually has allure to it when it involves a community, because it garners a “in it together” mentality which makes the consumers actually feel like they are part of the team. Especially when feedback given is reflected in its improvements which helps in turn build further loyalty and sense of connection. I feel that’s one thing start ups have over large corporate is the sense of relativity and involvement. So in these cases, imperfection can actually be a plus.
