Why did you remove the channel circles and bring channels back as tabs? - Feedback and usage seemed to indicate that people felt the circles communicated "story" yet were just navigating to another feed. Other Twitter-like apps use tabs for this. Why can't I customize all of my tabs? - We tried a version internally that was entirely favorite channel based and the order was 100% customizable. However, that often ended up in stale channels visible in the initial view. The mix of customization + algo has worked the best. Additionally, since you can control which channels you favorite (and are a member of), if there is a channel that appears as a tab too frequently you can consider removing as a favorite or leaving as a member. We also moved trending to the side menu; you can favorite it to add as a tab. https://warpcast.notion.site/Updates-to-Home-13c6a6c0c10180189a95d379924f41c0

@jrf you and I discussed the composability of channel circles way back. This^ is kinda interesting in that vein.

yeah, changing it up is a step in the right direction not a huge change here, just a different visual maybe new types of 1-click channel interactions or different kinds of notification indicators beyond a simple circle could be a cool next step?
