Hmm, if it’s your own platform i would tend to gravitate to using your own graphic which represents the decorate your casts, like an artists cap or brush or something. 

The thing with emojis I’ve noticed while using Warpcast is that some emojis exist in Mobile but don’t for PC. Also the visuals are quite different. 
So to keep the feel of the art the same, maybe a single graphic is better.
