Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of God. Curious to know what you guys think “poor in spirit” means. I’ve got three possibilities in my head, one that I’m leaning towards.

The 3 possibilities: 1. What @geaux.eth said above — not actually being about money but of “spiritual wealth”, so to speak 2. What Jesus says in Luke 6:20 — just literally being poor 3. About manna, specifically, but pertaining to the heart, not actual material circumstance Leaning toward 3, but open
