Right now it's basic and will choose the currency you have enough balance in, preferring ETH since it requires no approvals. We'll expand it soon to let you pick directly

Right. Currently it automatically selects degen for me and because degen value is fluctuating so much, I have to keep paying gas to increase allowance.
