That's a good question. I know I can't sell them, so farming them for that reason is out.
TL;DR Tested new chain: fast txs, solid UX, mind expanded
For me personally, I hadn't tried the chain or testnet. So, I was able to
- Add the network to my rabby wallet
- learn the chainID, rpc url and do some deeper diving into recognizing it as legit or not
- browsing some of the apps others are playing with - prediction market, launching tokens like pump fun, buying an NFT. The UXes are better or at least on par with what I've seen
- tx were fast, so that was nice. I can imagine what some of these apps would be like without mainnet, base or other ETH clones
- I launched a meme coin and watched people snipe.
So overall, I learned more and expanded my mind on good UX and what a chain would be like if it were faster.
I would welcome joining new chains like this, and learning about them. I would be an opt-in 1 reply
