How often do you say the word “interesting” in conversation? My friend remarked last night that it’s a vague filler word, and he’s right. I use it that way far too often. It’s sort of like how startups call themselves a “platform.” Doesn’t mean anything.

I use it pretty often, and I do mean that it's interesting, as in something that would merit thought and attention, but I don't necessarily have a well formed thought to add.
