Growing up I kept a journal. I wasn’t very diligent. Sometimes it would sit for weeks untouched. But I loved writing down my dreams. They’re so fragile—dreams. Even a word might blow them away, or a harsh light from between the curtains.

Maintaining a journal is one of the best things one can do especially if you're coping with depression or loneliness. This is what I do too and later on I toss those thoughts into art.❤️

I agree with this 10000%!!!! Journaling was the first self care habit I stuck to for myself and it opened the door to deep inner work that helped me find myself again when I lost my hopes, dreams, and identity to people pleasing and limiting beliefs I never thought to question... until I journaled! 20 $DEGEN

TYSM💛 Indeed! And I'd honestly recommend it to anyone though some don't really like to journal. It's just so peaceful 💆🏻♀️
