end of an era. FiveThirtyEight is shutting down. honestly the writing was on the wall when 538 lost its founder, Nate Silver, and its founding creative team and then downward spiraled assimilating into Disney only to get closed by ABC News. sad. hopefully a new data site arises, built on top of @polymarket.

Nate was a star when he first came on the scene using data in ways others weren’t…what’s he up to now, haven’t seen him mentioned as much recently. Maybe was on some news stuff during elections.
