I think that based on the permissionless channel protocol that FC uses, you could get them whether I provided them or not, simply by looking at casts from SC users. But regardless, I plan to publish those channels openly to make it easier.

will other clients (like @herocast 👀) be able to get a list of live channels that sportscaster uses?

Not a dumb question. I still need a couple days to deploy it.
