So far the obvious result is: On Clanker you get front run and rugged by a ton of people. On Pump.fun at least the dev is actually the founding member. You could never crowdfund an organization on the Clanker model, for example. So far Pump.fun made several times more than what I lost on Clanker, despite me having deposited a small fraction of the amount. I have no idea how much of that is "the normal site noise" or how much is boosted by this cast, but that's what it is for me.

So far I'm down 50% on Base, and up 1000x on SOL, and I'm only like the 6th biggest holder on SOL. Freaking wild. Terrifyingly powerful dynamics.

Yeah, and for me that pretty much ensures I'd never endorse it or use it as a very meaningful personal currency. It's fun & games for currency exploration, but it just isn't nuanced enough to represent real financial intentions & engagements.
