And feel like a navigation. Rather than just a tab switch on the list below

They serve different purposes. With a pure entertainment app, giving me the most interesting video after video keeps me entertained. With a news communication community app, having consistent content from people builds a sense of relationships that doesn’t happen. Even the mundane content is additive there

Oh cool. I thought that was their posts. Think about naming or even moving it to a different line like “see what X sees”

Still interesting to see someone else’s feed. The nice thing about managing follows is a semblance of control and consistency of seeing content from your world. But yes we can move to a world where machines just feed us content too

Very cool. I think it needs to be built into your main client so it is one tap away from a profile you are seeing with messaging like “see the world through X’s eyes”

Jtbd: (1) who is this person let me learn more about them (2) I think they have good taste who else should I follow (3) I am new, help me get started by looking at how someone I know or respect uses the product

The feature I want most is to see someone else’s timeline. You learn so much about someone based on who they follow and it is a great discovery mechanism. Works when all or most content is public.

Best feature you wish you could add to Twitter but doesn’t make sense in Warpcast/Farcaster yet until more scale?

It is entirely reasonable to think he is a genius inventor, leader, creator of very hard technology companies that make incredible products and still second guess some of his other life choices, attitudes, and leadership of Twitter

Snap is doing ok - generated over $4B last year and almost $400M in adjusted EBITDA and positive free cash flow. It takes a long time to have the network kick in and then again for the monetization system. But when it works it works so well

They certainly need to do a better design for the social butterfly / lots of communities case!

It’s slowly happening but takes time. The product is getting easier. When people are brought into a small community they get trained and onboarded really well. But when people get invited into larger groups and communities it’s harder for that to work.

This is finally changing. Greta Thunberg set nuclear back about 25 years. Europe was much further ahead in nuclear adoption

The main stream challenge is you don’t mind decentralization until you get stuck / lose something and need help
