FYI: This is not the first time the Australian government has attempted mass censorship. Probably not even the fifth.

Worth noting is that the excuses are the same here as they are everywhere. Terrorism, child pornography, drugs. But make no mistake, it's the velvet boot. Australians do not have enshrined free speech, and the window of what you can say is closing rapidly.
