I don't think anyone does. And there's no real path out. The population of Australia was 21 million in 2010. It's not even the same people voting.

People vote in their own interests. People from other countries tend to have other interests. I think this is controversial to say still, but won't be for long. Corrupt regimes can sustain themselves by importing voters - and we have imported the most.
