Collectors are willing to pay 3$ to mint your art but you only get 1$ from it

I’ve “sold” more than 1k pieces on Zora. 
People spent 3000$ but i didnt even earn half of it..

Isnt the blockchain supposed to get rid of the middle man..?

That's why i stopped minting on Zora, i tried it for the first time last year, it was funny, made a couple community drops, amazing artists and a lot of nice collectors, but it's not it imo
