sending a big virtual hug to so many of you today 💚 i’ve been up since 5:00, feeling… not great. the world feels a lot darker and heavier right now, and my hope for the future is pretty dim. but i’m holding on to the belief that regular people can still make a real impact, and i can’t tell you how much i cherish the friends i’ve met who validate that belief right alongside me

been feeling a lot lately like i'm not really a "designer" anymore, bc I use so much more than just visual design as my medium. Greg Isenberg said it so well, "careers are now skill Tetris" and the people who thrive are the one's that figure out which weird shapes they'll need to add to exactly the right spots.

@dwr.eth i think the relationship between channels and the main feed needs to be finessed. the most frustrating thing about a new social network is not finding the signal you're looking for, and channels absolutely solve that! but i forget about a lot of the channels i want to follow bc they dont auto-show up on my main feed, and the UIX for going back and checking on them is pretty bad. some really sick data visualization here could be pretty amazing (ie, see which channels had a busy or slower week).
