At 12:25 AM, my eyelids felt unusually heavy that night. As my vision blurred and images overlapped, I recall closing my eyes at the very moment they converged and succumbing to sleep. When I next became aware of my surroundings, I found myself standing in the same spot—a place filled with a pungent, humid odor that pricked my nostrils. In complete darkness, I reached out to grasp a wall, and in that instant, I sensed with chilling certainty that something was terribly amiss. @rodeodotclub
