Following Leif Ferreira's post in LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7270849279131308032/) in which he commented on what he was doing 10 years ago in Bitcoin (spoiler: launching @bit2me) an interesting idea occurred to me: what is the best anecdote that those of you who were already in the Bitcoin ecosystem during the first 5 years (2009-2014) can tell? In my case, I have a few, but I'll stick with this one: the letter I received from the Japanese court judging the bankruptcy of MtGox, where I was one of the victims (when the largest exchange of the time disappeared, I had about $84 there, which I used in my classes to teach how it worked; at that time Bitcoin was still below $200... and unfortunately for me my position was in dollars, not in bitcoins 😅 so it's still $84). Do you have any personal anecdote during the first 5 years of Bitcoin to tell? Reply this cast (providing evidence!), the best one will receive a tip, in bitcoins 😉
