Farcaster

If I were to follow what Warpcast shows me, I would understand that the post I link below, where I raised a debate about Farcaster's situation, would not have been interesting (barely 5 likes, no replies).

But that is not the reality. If I look at the real data from Supercast, without the Warpcast filter, there are 25 likes and 5 replies (as you can see in the screenshot).

The question is not whether or not I configure Warpcast to see all interactions. The key is that this configuration is the one established BY DEFAULT by the dominant Farcast client (not Supercast, which does the opposite), so most users will not have changed the configuration.

And those who are excluded by the Warpcast algorithm, quite rightly, end up giving up and abandoning a social network in which they have been made clear that they are not welcome.

Let's do an experiment: if you're one of those hidden users on Warpcast, like and recast this post, and we'll see what Warpcast says is happening versus the reality that Supercast shows.

I remember the times when I was excited and committed to helping make Farcaster a reality. The time when I could talk to @dwr.eth or @v openly or through DC, to discuss and offer my collaboration by trying whatever was necessary.

But I no longer feel that motivation. Farcaster has become something else, an environment where the thread I shared in /farcaster doesn't even have a comment from those who previously had the community at the center of everything they did. Even more, in fact many users interacted, but I don't see it in Warpcast, because they are censored (thanks @supercast to let me see the reality).

I continue on Farcaster, supporting those initiatives that are still worthwhile and the people who still have that vision of community, like @woj.eth on @supercast or @betashop.eth on @moxie.eth @airstack.eth.

I confess that I am really sad to have reached this point. Good luck, Farcaster, I wish you the best. But I am out of hope.

I missed the original post, but now I understand why my interaction numbers are different (higher) in Supercast.
