For ENS to thrive they really need to move end-user functions to an L2 or have a dedicated rollup.

People need to be able to change state in their ENS data for low-to-zero cost for the full potential to be realized.

Imagine all the uses your ENS could serve if...

...you were able to toggle simple boolean values like setting your availability for other apps to query.

Having a hosting platform for arbitrary name-value pairs is so limited when it's prohibitively expensive to update. This should be top priority now that L2/L3 networks are more user friendly.
