The French government 🇫🇷 has reportedly extended the detention of Telegram founder Pavel Durov for another 96 hours. France's OFMIN office, the agency responsible for preventing violence against minors, has issued an arrest warrant for Durov in a preliminary investigation into charges including fraud, drug trafficking, cyberbullying, organized crime and promoting terrorism. Note that the French government has not yet initiated any prosecution, and it will be known only when there is information from the court why the CEO of Telegram was arrested. Current information only shows that the accusation is related to information management on Telegram, not that the CEO of Telegram participated in the above mentioned acts. Source: Azara News
