It was fun! Top complaint is that in general so many of the cards are so powerful, the power swings are very abrupt, extreme, and frequent, so it can feel a bit luck of the draw at the end as near victories are constantly subverted.

I tend to play whatever people want to play. I think I tend to most enjoy games with some secret information, not too much random chance volatility, not so much complexity for its own sake (like Power grid), but ideally some novel market scheme. Ra is a good example of an elegant auction game.
