Thank you! A great team win! Best game they’ve ever played ~ nice when you can detect a progression in skills. They did lose one game against a Boston team pretty badly, but that too revealed a lot of weaknesses they can now work on. Lots of learnings along the way…

Their season ends in March. Their last travel game will be in February. Then it’s just recreational league and maybe private coaching whenever we can afford it until tryouts in the summer.

Perhaps he will get lucky and play in the spring league. That was a real booster for my son as he got to play with older players.

They (10U) have 2 practices with 12U, but they don’t scrimmage against one another typically ~ only on very rare occasions. It is definitely always great to play up! Next year he will try out for 12U, which is going to be interesting as it’s more competitive and there is a larger pool of kids.

At 12U they start changing a lot. Interesting times. It definitely goes from house team vibes to major travel hockey vibes.

This is honestly the best experience for us as parents so far. It’s incredible to see major improvement within a few months, and just watching 12+ U play in the tournaments it is literally mindblowing what those kids are capable of. Especially when knowing how exhausting even one hard minute on the ice can be!
