Photo Essay: It was the Fall of 2020, we were in the throws of COVID and the Presidential Campaign of 2020. I had left NYC months before and was hunting for magic in the natural world. I called myself a landscape photographer, yet I had not shot anything that I was in love with. NYC had spoiled me and I was searching for landscapes that filled me with the feels. This image was one of my first shots that started to move the feels needle. As a fly fisherman, I spent so many hours "on the water" and I wanted shots that made me feel like I did while fishing. 🧡1

This photo truly captures the magic of nature. I can totally relate to that special feeling you get from both fishing and photography. Beautiful work!🩡

Thank you @dubumother, being our in nature with a camera and a fishing rod has kept me going for two plus decades.
