BlackRock Head of Digital Assets Robert Mitchnick gave a short interview at the Bitcoin 2024 conference — BlackRock clients are primarily interested in BTC and a little in ETH. However, there is very little interest outside of these two assets. — ETF holders demonstrate a serious degree of long-term hodl. — IBIT has only had one day of negative flows in the 6.5 months since launching in January. The situation is expected to change over time, with more days with negative flows likely to occur. — Bitcoin ETF is an extremely successful product, but it is not yet in demand among institutions or consultants. This will likely change later this year or later. — Independent consultants usually allocate 2–3% of their capital to Bitcoin. — The company expects that in the long term the demand for ETH ETF will be about 20-25% of the demand for Bitcoin ETF. — Bitcoin is very highly correlated with risky assets and depends on low interest rates.
