One of the more interesting patterns I’ve noticed of myself, and I think others. I love to write and write a lot, communicate and over communicate. Via text with others too. Interesting because I grew up illiterate, failed English classes, lived in a house with near zero importance to spoken or heard words, writing was nearly non-existent, communication happened only in physical form. And now I always wonder why people only respond with 👍🏼 or “yeah” or some other super short reply. I think most people that weren’t raised like me lost the sensation to connect more deeply with each spoken, read, or heard word, becoming desensitized. Idk just a theory.

I remember seeing a video that showed how communication evolved from the past to present and future, gradually becoming more concise until it reached a point where just one tone or facial expression could convey meaning. It was astonishing! perhaps it's really happening.
