If the President can call anyone he wants a terrorist and have that person whisked away to be renditioned in an El Salvadoran prison without due process, how long will it be before this is happening to political opponents? 

I’m not saying Trump would do that (although I wouldn’t put it past him) - but i do believe it’s a very slippery slope that will end up with innocent Americans in foreign prisons. 

MAGA folks like to say “It’s only happening to illegal immigrants!”. Ok, if that’s the case, why don’t they just prove it? Allowing the Trump admin to keep it a secret just further makes this easier to be weaponized against political opponents or anyone else in America. It’s an absolutely frightening precedent to set.

The French Minister of Research reported that a French scientist was denied entry to the U.S. this month after immigration officers at the airport checked his phone and found messages criticizing the Trump administration. That’s how totalitarian practices look like.
