Mostly with normalizing 3rd-party API responses though it seems like that's just scratching the surface.

Zod is the truth. I use it for all kinds of validations (client and server-side). Also if you're using Drizzle by any change, there's another package called drizzle-zod that makes it crazy easy to create new schemas from pre-existing ones:
