My latest conspiracy theory is this: the feds are sinking capital into prisons cuz the gift of Old Age Security is a gift that can't keep giving. Especially if ur an incarcerated boomer (it's the law). Gotta have someplace to toss the boomers when they can no longer afford property taxes due to inflation. Then the feds can snag their high value property AND save on OAS! It's a win for everyone not born in the 50s and 60s. π We can just blame inflation... π¨π¦
