a friend of mine was holding ETH since $4000 and refused to sell at $2000 (even though he needed the money) because it looked super cheap. sure, if you compare it to your entry price, it is β€” but if you compare it to the actual context…is it? it's hard to sell after holding through a downtrend, but if you don't detach emotionally from your bags, you're gonna have a bad time. after all, it's just numbers β€” you're not losing $2000 at this point, you're protecting yourself from a bigger loss. honestly, the best move every time you get paid for your onchain activities is to stable a big chunk of it, depending on how much you need that money in the short term. i'd be having a really bad time if i hadn't stabled most of my earnings from the last mint. but since i knew i'd be traveling again and would need the money, i pulled the trigger, and now i’m chilling (not super happy with these prices, but at least not stressed).
