it's weird to me that sending an ENS name to another wallet does not automatically point the name to that wallet. I had to go into the dashboard and change it manually. Maybe up to wallet apps to prompt, but weird UX.

There are two parts to an ENS name. There is the person who owns and then there is a section of all the addresses the contract points to.

There are three parts… 

$ENS utility token whose intrinsic value should be tied to all of the ENS wrapper, public wallet address anonymization, and sybil attestation use cases for a fully developed addressable market. 

Those two parts wash the other.

yeah in this case having it not point to my new address if I send it between accounts I own feels like weird UX. But it might be something to solve at the client level.
