shipped initial specifications and implementations of [Solana Actions](https://solana.com/solutions/actions) + blinks to bring x.com (or any site) onchain think there's an opportunity to either align or extend the existing FC transaction spec to bring that functionality directly into FC clients: https://warpcast.com/jnwng/0x99a462c6 the spec would need to adjust itself given the difference in execution models, but would be seamless to have a one-size-fits-all Frame for Solana Actions /cc @v

couple of examples attached! wallet pings API for serialized txn, which can be unpacked and simulated the txn request through TipLink.io sees an NFT mint so surfaces that in the preview. things like token transfer are straightforward to detect since there’s a single token smart contract being used

state compression on Solana has absolutely exploded state growth—storage space for 7.43 billion digital assets has already been allocated for just over ◎2,433, putting the price of a digital asset on Solana at ◎0.0000003 ($0.00003) getting onchain doesn't have to be expensive!

- when on desktop, expose QR for mobile signing, or Wallet Standard to hit desktop extensions - when on mobile, deeplink might be the only way. WalletConnect isn't broadly adopted on Solana wallets 2/2

initial thoughts on the Solana version of this spec, particularly from the perspective Solana Pay transaction requests: - probably want to enforce CPI Guard / Lighthouse protection instructions - might as well enforce that fees are paid for - verify writeable accounts ... 1/2

the FC tx spec is somewhat incongruent with Solana, but might make sense to diverge the implementation of the transaction spec given different trade-offs—on Solana you can ensure that certain accounts aren't given write permissions, require that txes be gasless, or ensure inclusion of ixes that safeguard user funds

in case it is useful, this concept has been battle-tested on Solana—check out [Solana Pay transaction requests](https://docs.solanapay.com/core/transaction-request/overview) in case that provides any useful insight. similar strategy to encode the URL, although given Solana's account model has different params

i’m supportive but we have _got_ to find some better names Starcaster, Starfall, Sundown, Sunchaser… imagine if this protocol was called Ethcaster even Soulcaster sounds way better sub the Hub with generalized state compression, Solana Pay “Shortcuts” ala Phantom for onchain Frame support, gasless relays
