Building through the bear market is tough. You watch friends fail or lose faith, lose collaborators and endure public ridicule.

We are blessed to have Farcaster as a place to collaborate, coordinate and have a sense of community. Farcaster is for builders because we were the only ones left.

it’s a big reason why i don’t think fc needs to be a high level global news network to succeed - broadcasting culture

it can be a place to hang out, meet ppl, build cool things, share things we create and/or are curious about, learn, and have fun - participation culture

the former is what we’ve been trained by big social to see as “social media”, the latter is more like irl, w both social and economic layers that are not just based on consumption

investor, photographer, nomad, exploring onchain & exploring the 🌎 /positivesum

It’s a sentiment that may seem overused and a little too basic but we come to FC for the vibes. That doesn’t just mean to feel good about ourselves, it’s confirmation that there are other people out there that believe in what we believe in and stay positive when the outside world is so negative.
