We’re rolling out a feature soon that lets people create and run their own DAO through Clubhouse and charge a subscription to join. Definitely web2.5 not pure web3, but the point is to use this incredible new technology for a whole new market segment than who can figure out how to use it today!

We’ve seen so many web3 projects launch on Clubhouse and we continue to be very bullish on the technology and community for the long haul. Token Gated Houses is our first foray into web3, but certainly won’t be our last.

Starting today, anyone can connect their wallet and get added to Houses based on their ETH NFTs as they come online. I’m excited to let y’all know that Token Gated Houses are now in beta on Clubhouse! The first House is for the CH WAGMI NFT project, which was a community discovered sensation after we built it for educational purposes internally.

@fascinated @jacob we should brainstorm on how this could work in Clubhouse, too. We're launching a way to play music / sound effects in the app and I think this could be a killer distro channel for music NFTs / FT in general

It looks like a cool music nft-centric marketplace, but doesn't emphasize the consumption experience (ie, web3 spotify) enough yet. I see the big unlock for the space to be the permissionless distribution layer, that can then layer a paid marketplace on top.
