you would just make a different take on a social application that happens to make use of their protocol. would probably not be fun to consume on the warpcast app. think of eg letterboxd and goodreads (instead of text post you rate media). or of how @pods uses soundxyz's protocol/factory

You have articulated the bear case for decentralized social lol. 

A developer might be excited about the fact that, because it’s conformant to a protocol, others could easily read, write, and remix their application data without needing to learn something new.

hm, but if you don't get warpcast distribution, is there even a reason to use farcaster? pay to post storage scheme makes it expensive unless i get something from the composability with existing clients (or a secret third thing?)
