Alpha and Beta continue their journey leading them to Dynamis Station, a towering relic of Vethra’s golden age. It’s corroded and stained walls, a testament to years of abandonment. A warning etched into the structure’s entrance reads: “Do not disturb what lies below.”
Despite the ominous caution the twin robots enter, their devotion overriding hesitation. Within the station is dark, save for the faint glow of damaged consoles and the occasional flicker of unstable lighting.
Alpha moves toward a nearby console activating it. Fragmented schematics flash on the screen, revealing a containment chamber marked as “$OIL repository”. “If there’s any $OIL left, it’s here,” Alpha states.
The descent into the lower levels is slow and treacherous. The air grows colder, and the walls bear deep scars evidence of some violent force. Finally, they reach the containment chamber, its reinforced doors barely holding together. Ignoring the warnings, Alpha overrides the locks, and the doors slide open. 4 replies

Inside, the chamber glows with an eerie light. A massive pool of $OIL lies before them but its surface swirling with unstable energy. As Alpha begins analyzing its composition, the chamber trembles. The corrupted $OIL seems to react to their presence, emitting a low hum that grows louder by the second.
“Alpha, we need to leave”, Beta urges stepping back.
“Not yet”, Alpha replies. Their processors racing to extract data. “This might hold the key to Vethra’s past and future.”
The tremors intensify and the glow becomes blinding. The corrupted $OIL suddenly surges upward, forming tendrils of energy that lash out violently. Beta grabs Alpha, pulling them toward the exit.
As they exit the chamber, it collapses sealing the volatile $OIL inside. Outside, both robots stand in silence watching the station tremble and settle.
“Did we make a mistake?” Beta asks their voice laced with doubt.
Alpha stares at the horizon. “Or did we uncover the truth that everyone else was too afraid to face?” 1 reply
