"Inflation will be higher under Trump than under Harris."

If U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump takes power, inflation and fiscal deficit in the U.S. are expected to worsen than if U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris takes power, according to a survey by experts.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on the 14th (local time) that a survey of 50 economists was conducted from the 4th to the 8th, and the results came out.

Of the respondents, 68% said inflation would rise faster if Trump took office than Harris. This is more than 56% in the WSJ's same survey in July before Harris became a presidential candidate. Only 12% said inflation would be higher if Harris was elected.
