This piece seeks to convey the healing power of time. The word "Eghe" is derived from the Esan language, meaning "time" in English. Patience can be challenging when facing mental struggles, often causing agitation and a desire for immediate change. However, nature repeatedly demonstrates that time is essential for both destruction and healing. It teaches us that healing, much like nature itself, requires time.
The changes we seek for ourselves or those dealing with mental challenges will come if we make the right choices and take action, but we must be patient. Progress involves taking bold steps out of our metaphorical cages, one step at a time. Within our minds lie hurts, thoughts, pains, burns, aches, and memories that only time can heal. Thus, we must learn to relax, like an hourglass, and allow negative experiences to fade with time.
