Conversely Apple understands how to build new consumer platforms

I expect Apple to launch their AR platform focused on how it augments your personal life and helps you connect with family

Meta hasn’t had a social platform innovation since newsfeed; they grew purely through acquisition and ruthlessly copying competitors.

Creating an integrated hardware and software platform from scratch just isn’t in Mark’s wheelhouse
