Nobody is telling Merkle to blow $1M/year on marketing. Just make a hire — a single hire — that can help support and amplify builders and creators on other platforms that are doing great work here. That same person can also be actively recruiting communities to FC. More voices can only help if they’re high quality.

i kinda agree with dan that if you want to be a great company today you want the ceo to run comms. theres def room for marketing tho beyond outsourcing it to token projects, esp if merk expands its market to address more than just ct, which i really hope they do before the bear hits
