why not frame it as a tip? i think that analogy makes way more sense than “open edition”

I love what @chaim.eth is doing with acid, beautiful app and seamless UX. 

But I don’t think it has to always be one or the other like that… We are trying to harness a little speculation in the name of patronage over at @betrmint for example, and having similar success (1 ETH raised for our featured creators in a week.) 

Lots of available formulas and onchain creators should be prepared to try a combination of approaches imo.
