The Aether Mirror

I fucking did it, I made an Æther that depicts the face of a Dragon… 

My god this was so hard to do for so many reasons. Trying to find the right piece of wood to photograph in order to do this was insanely hard as because the angle of the shot had to be perfect to convey the distinct features that even partially resemble a dragon.

The textures had to be right but even at that how can a photograph of a piece of wood that’s made abstract convey the details of a dragons body, even after the mirroring process, the amount of meticulous details I had to add as far as color correction and texture adjustment to make it somewhat believable was nuts.
