I have online friends from 2008 I still talk to, people I met online 2021 I met irl and we didn’t need crypto to glue our relationship. Only proximity to good vibes and expectations.
In fact, the common denominator to any healthy interpersonal connection is not wealth, race, or gender, but proximity to positive mental models.
I’ve never judged someone for being poor until the problems stemming from their poverty became apparent. Thus, what followed would be a lens of “this nigga’s poor” that’s why he compares lifestyles and is jealous of me which stems into animosity and competition.
He’s the bee, i’m the human.
Regardless of how much empathy I extend or muster up, I will never be able to see how he truly feels.
I could go flat broke, move into a beaten down apartment, but I could never experience the ultra violet light of his poverty.
Thus, I am an isolated hermit. A educated black man in close proximity to a little ghetto but I prefer the online trenches.
I require wider plains. 1 reply
