Clients that compete on UX, including filters. Twitter doesn’t share its graph with competition.

It's interesting that Twitter could have gone the same way by sharing its graph without decentralization. End result for users would be the same. I remember when the API had a rule about 3rd party clients only supporting a max of 100k users.
