TW: violence against women 

Sharing because these stories are so commonplace. We have become desensitized to the heinous treatment of women by men in our world. And it’s not all men, but it usually is a man.

I am a huge fan of Jameela Jamil, and I agree that if it’s just women posting and talking about these heinous acts, no real change will happen. We need the men to be aware of the epidemic and get involved (and the men to understand how our patriarchical society is laced with toxic masculinity has a detrimental impact to their own bodies and minds… the men are clearly not ok!!)

Jesus, this is the worst thing I've read into this week

The problem is because society is mainly run by men, there are so many injustices that women face. Especially when being abused, and not being believed. A good case is the one Gisèle Pelicot in France who was drugged by her husband and raped by 52 men. If she didn’t have any evidence- No one would have believed her.
