I used to be like that. I learnt that I have to put my needs first otherwise ppl will take everything away from me.

oddly difficult question. i think cause it feels engrained to please people (in that way where you do it but it feels insincere). like deep down i know i please people by just being myself, but sometimes theres a gremlin who is like "lay down in this puddle and let them use your back to cross, they will like you more". i think genuinely its a self esteem issue.
