Larry Page co-founded Google with Sergey Brin after meeting at Stanford University. They launched the search engine in 1996 and founded Google Inc. in 1998 with Page as CEO. The company received $25 million in funding in 1999. Page and Brin now serve as Co-CEOs of Alphabet, Google's parent company.
