Would love to see lots of shit in this world and it won’t happen. In the meantime, no I don’t want to be on a chain that is never going to have on-ramps from anywhere but the US instead of a chain that has on-ramps from every single major exchange in the world hooked into an interoperable network that’ll actually be secure with fees cheaper than what exists on base and with block times that’ll soon be lower once we ship ssf than a centralized service. So no thanks to limited shittier tech.

1. Different having on and off ramps vs CEX on and off ramps. One requires attracting news users. The other allows relying on existing users. One is broadly used. The other is not. 2. Base cannot be for anyone no matter how well that is marketed. Base is Coinbase centric and can never not be given the legal obligation of Coinbase to maximize shareholder value. 3. Base is 💯 centralized even in stage 1. Congrats on the fraud proofs (seriously) but that doesn’t make it decentralized. It makes it more censorship resistant. It makes it more secure. But it doesn’t make it centralized. A centralized party can sequence transaction as they wish consistent with or in violation of the Law of Chains. Equally excited to scale and unify Ethereum to bring an amazing UX and security to all.
